Today's topic is quite a touchy subject but one I feel needs to be discussed and acknowledged for it sometimes goes unsaid.
I honestly had a different direction for my next post but I feel moved to share on grief with you.
Well just yesterday, (the 14th of this month), one I had never met or had any encounter with was put to rest on the 3rd day of her demise. One would wonder why one person's demise would move me incredibly despite death being an enemy we so often are at war with. *(I will outline why in the summary of the post.)
From every event I try to draw a learning curve to add value to my life. In this instance It dawned on me how short and sudden life is and changing surrounding the chaos going on around the world from disease to conflict to natural disasters to accidents to suicides, you name in it, but in all this one fate that we cannot escape remains lurking.
I know what you may be thinking at this point, I'm feeling gloom too, you are not alone but we must face the truth.
There is hope nonetheles; are we at peace with our maker? Not to impose religion but a reality that we didn't create ourselves and so endeavor to draw closer to the throne of grace where is one responsible for your being.
Maybe this has come at a point where you may be grieving. I for one have learned aswell that its ok to come in touch with your emotions rather than to sweep it under the rug and pretend it's not there. Yes it hurts but always be grateful for the time spent and the lessons learnt.
*A take home package that I will be honouring greatly and an answer to an earlier asked 'why' is legacy.
Legacy! legacy! legacy!
Her name was Deborah and she had an aura of peace, love and worship that she left impressed on those she met. Even you now know that of her. #rest in peace.
A legacy remains behind when someone is no more. Whether good or bad, for a long or short duration, it will be there.
Let me conclude with this;
It's a voice of the voiceless where who and what you really are shine through. Now we have the pen in our hand, writing a story we want told.
Yes we don't know how long we have but it's not about how many days you have but what you bring to each day.
Last but certainly not the least Another watercolour painting treat.🌻
